I love crafting with cardboard and as Cherry is obsessed with jewelry I thought it would be fun to let her make her own cardboard necklaces.
I cut some shapes out of cardboard then let her paint them and stick glitter on them (she’s obsessed with glitter!).
When the shapes were dry I stuck some yarn on the back.
Very quick and easy.
I think they would make a good kid’s party craft especially if you wanted them to get into groups afterwards for different games. For example you could have a rainbow group, a dinosaur group etc
You could also make bunting with them.
You might want to leave the glitter off to limit the mess but Cherry is three so that wasn’t an option!
If you do use glitter then I always put another layer of glue on top to stop it all falling off everywhere.
These cardboard necklaces are so easy to make and the possibilities are endless!
