A few weeks ago I shared this handmade rag doll that I had made using a pattern out of a book called Crafty Dolls.
I mentioned in the other post what a great book it is and today I’m going to share with you something else I’ve made out of it, this knitted superhero toy..
I only learnt how to knit properly at Christmas so this is the first proper knitted project I’ve completed but I’m pleased with it and Cherry loves it too. It’s a great project for beginners, all you need to do is know how to do a stocking stitch which is just one line of knit then one line of purl. If you can do that then you can do this. Some of the patterns I’ve seen need you to knit in the round which I haven’t attempted yet but all the dolls in this book are simple like this.
